well basically im a 15 year old boy wanting to be a doctor myself, i know that Nottingham university (queens medical centre) will only accept a MINIMUM of 6 a's at gcse, also you need maths, eng and science to be A's. It helps to have work experience, and also you need to take Biology and chemistry for a levels(you need A's for them aswell!!). The more commitment in all subjects you show the better.

The kind of skills that you need to become a doctor include being compassionate, being caring, paying attention to detail and problem solving. Working well with others is another.
