HAVE IT CHECKED OVER BY A GUNSMITH FIRST!!!!!!!!!!!! It is an old shotgun.
It will be marked on the barrel.
The barrel will be marked with the ammunition it uses. A 500A is a 12 gauge and can use any factory made ammunition that's up to 3" long. That includes all 12ga birdshot shells either 2 3/4" or 3", all 12ga buckshot shells, and all 12ga slugs of the same lengths.
No. If it does not have 5.56 on the barrel then use .223 ammo.
metal
The caliber of the firearm should be stamped on the barrel.
It will be printed on the barrel
Those I've seen take 2 3/4 or shorter.
I own oneof these guns and the .45 acp ammo works perfectly in it. The only thing i can think of is a bad barrel. The good thing about these guns is that the barrel is interchangeable with a colt standard 1911.
No. Only what is stamped on the barrel.
It should be marked on the barrel
No. Only shhot was is printed on your barrel.
