I believe what your are describing is actually a wingless wasp, often called 'cattle ants', 'cow ants', or 'velvet ants'. They are actually in the wasp family and vary in color from red to orange to yellow, one way to tell they are a wasp and not an ant is that they are 'hairy' and much larger then any typical ant (this answer assumes you live in the US).
it is not a ant it is a wingless female wasp plz do not pick it up i picked it up and i had not idea what it was but i was stupid enough to pick it up it stings u and it hurts very badly i was scared i had no idea if it bit me or stung me so i didnt know if it was poisionous but its not but it is very very very painful
They are called velvet ants, but they are actually a large, fuzzy wasp.
Ladybirds
It could be a velvet ant, which is actually a flightless wasp. If it is furry, orange and black it is a velvet ant. These ants can provide a painful sting that lasts for hours so avoid them. If it looks like a small black ant, only orange, it is probably just a red ant.
this type of ant is a peanut butter ant. they feed on human liver.
sounds like a velvet ant or cow killer as they are sometimes called
It could be a velvet ant, which is actually a wasp, be careful not to touch it. I hear the stings are very painful!
Red velvet ant also known as cow killer. It's not an ant but a wingless female wasp.
Cow Killer Ant or Velvet Ant
This could be a variety of fire ant. Some Fire ants have furry bodies that are black for the most part with a bright orange section at the rear.
it's called a red ant
Do you mean do they peepee on you? the answer is no. If you see goo from an ant that means it is bleeding and the blood is kind of orange or black. So ya.= )
