The front is a forward rotation Dana 44 with Spicer locking hubs on part time 4 wheel drive models. The yoke comes in low therefore giving the diff more strength and a slightly better clearance advantage. The rear is a reverse rotation full floating Dana 60. The 44 was used as weight reduction over a front 60, and despite what opinions are, the front 44 is a strong front end.
