They played a combination of Ska Punk/Reggae/Rock. They were made up of 3 members, Brad Nowell, Bug Gaugh, and Eric Wilson. Their most praised work is/was their self-titled album, released in 1996, spawning hit singles such as "Santeria" and "What I Got". In total, the band released 3 studio albums before Brad died in May 1996 due to a heroin overdose, with the band's breakup following shortly after.
In my opinion, they are one of the most underrated bands ever.
Sublime was not a Christian band.
Sublime - band - was created in 1988.
Sublime - band - ended in 1996.

long beach, California
No, they were a bunch of white guys from California.
yes! they tour with 311 now. But since the vocalist from sublime died... and the singers family owns the rights to sublime. the original band changed it to "sublime with rome"....rome being the bands newest vocalist.
Sublime could very well be considered ska. It could also be considered reggae, though, but the two are quite similar.
