Here it is for you in 4 simple steps 1. There is a screw on the left hind leg below the stomach. 2. Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the cover. (The screw stays in the cover, so you won't unscrew it completely.) 3. Take out the old batteries and put in 2 fresh AA's. 4. Replace the cover and re-tighten the screws. And there you have it, your iDog will be back to it's normal self.
If your idog does not work after a long period of time of you not feeding it music, then it is dead. Replacing batteries will not work. The only way to revive it is to exchange it at the store.
