A horse can eat pretty much any type of bean possible. The beans should be shelled (de-hulled) and either fed dry or possibly soaked. Beans should also be very limited in amount fed as it can cause gas colic if fed in large amounts. The most commonly fed bean is Soy beans at the moment.
