bumblebee
There are no known bees that live in dirt. Bees typically nest in hives, trees, or underground burrows, but not directly in dirt. Burrowing bees, like digger bees, may create nests in the ground near vegetation, but they do not live inside the dirt itself.
Burrowing bees eat pollen and nectar, just like any other kind of bees.
Compost
Bees and other stuff like that.
Can you please be more specific? Do you mean what kind do they like to sting, or, in the case of meat bees, do they like to eat, ie, plum skin. Thanks~ MountainFlower
bumble bees do that. I am sure there are different, more actual bee-like varieties that prefer that type of nest as well.
if they mess with somebody like pushes them and that kind of stuff
Well he keeps his distance and kind of pushes you off when you talk to him
It sounds like the bees you are describing may be bumble bees. Bumble bees can have varying sizes, some larger than honey bees, and they are known to nest in the ground with structures similar to honeycomb. Bumble bees are important pollinators and generally not aggressive unless disturbed.
It may be a Cicada Killer Wasp, the males can be aggressive like bees but don't have stingers and I think they can bite. The females have stingers but are more like bumble bees, you really need to tick them off for them to sting
Miner bees - harmless.......
sounds like a bee to me
