Any small block. Some big blocks but some more research will be needed before you go get a 572 or something like that.
go to, http://www.camaroz28.com/, they have a good message board with all kind of information.
With a 305 small block engine, they're registered to go 110 MPH.
Have you checked the fluid level?
The spring goes into the block.
It grounds on the block.
about 7 maybe 8, youd need a transmission or a big hill to go any faster.
As far as Interchangeable parts go 1982-1992 is the same generation known as the third generation. Now as far as motors and stuff like that goes the sky is the limit you can make almost any G.M. small block bolt right up.
69 camaro can only go 120 mph
There is no 2006 Camaro.
I just did this exact swap with my firebird which of course is the same as a camaro. If you are actually swapping the complete engine you will have to go around the engine and swap all the sensors from your 87 onto the 91 such as oil sending unit temp switches etc... or if you have the tools and know how you can rebuild the 2.8 with the rotating assembly from the 3.1 which is what i did. One problem i ran into is make sure you inspect the 3.1 block very carefully for cracks(especially under the heads on the block) because these blocks are very bad about the water jackets cracking. Unfortunately i learned this the hard way.
Dodge does not make the Camaro, Chevrolet does.
It can't go at all since there's no such thing as a 2007 Camaro
