The "Fool" painted SG Les Paul that Clapton played throuh most of the Cream era was a 63/64 model. It originally came with a Maestro Vibrato unit and an ABR-1 Bridge with nylon saddles. The Cover of the Vibrato was taken off to make the artwork visible. When Todd Rundgren got the instrument, he changed the ABR Bridge for a late 70ies Norlin Bridge that was used on the SGs of that time. He also changed the Vibrato to a Stoptail Piece and swapped knobs and tuners.
