Purchase a Purolator filter at any auto parts store. It comes with complete instructions.
I have a 2003 (may be the same for your 2006) and the cabin filter is behind the glove compartment. I had to remove the glove compartment and then I could get to the cabin filter to replace it. Kind of hard to get to, but I was able to do it myself.
The 2011 Kia Soul has a 5-speed manual.
up ure butt What kind of answer is this?????
The 2011 Kia Soul runs on regular unleaded.
This is not even a question...so what kind of response are you looking for?If you're asking where the cabin air filter is on a '98 Civic, the answer is nowhere. Honda started using 'cabins' in the 7th generation Civic (2001-2005).
Not all PT Cruisers, but, newer 2006 did come with the cabin filter. The OEM is changed thru the Glove box, the add on is changed by removing the firewall cowl... Kind of a pain to change, but, I put one on my 2002 an the filter cost 14.00 at your Chrysler dealer...
i depends on what kind of city you live in. when you live in tropic country and it surely very dusty may be you should change the filter for every 2 regular service AC maintenance. IIMHO

The cabin air filter is located underneath the dashboard and accessible through the glove box. To remove it, you'll have to "remove" the 2 latches (left & right) holding the glove box. Removing meaning the glove box is just lowered, (but still attached) and it'll give you access to the filter area. There is a kind of screw type latch where you'll need to turn and pull to remove a black coloured cover. Once the cover is removed, you'll see the cabin air filter, which is grey in colour. Pull it out and replaced with a new one. Good luck.
It's underneath the glove compartment. I think when I replaced my filter, I had to take the plastic piece on the right off. It's the piece that runs along the bottom of the doorway. That seems kind of confusing, but I think that's what I did. Hope that helps!
