The Toyota Prius is the most mainstream hybrid car. Honda has hybrid Civics and the Insight. Chevy has the Volt. Nissan has a hybrid Infiniti. It seems like most car companies have some kind of hybrid offering at this point. Toyota's just seems to have been the longest out there/most popular.
Well I do not know what the term swot means. The GM Volt is a new car GM is coming out with in 2009 or 2010. It is an electric hybrid.

Ford makes several hybrid cars including the Fusion and Escape. Chevrolet also makes a Volt and Malibu in hybrid format. Finally, the Chrysler Aspen is available as a hybrid.

Yes!!!Except for Hybrid vehicles which are high voltage and really old cars (pre 1950's) which could be 6 or 8 volt.
There is a new Chevy Volt out that's an electric hybrid car. Ford also has an Escape that's is electric Hybrid also. Honda also has a new hybrid electric vehicle also that's out right now.
