Northern California is the land of "microclimates," meaning that the climate in one area may be dramatically different from an area not far away. Also, the climate along the coast is very different from the inland valleys and the mountains.
California doesn't have one climate. If you are in the San Diego area it is a mild climate and the average is about 75-80 degrees. Move further north into the LA basin and it can get hot. The temp. can range from 75-100 depending on how close you are to the beach. Inland it gets hot in summer. Central CA can be very hot in the summer 99-105 is not unusual and some days can get to 110. The winters can be very cold as well with frost and heavy fog. The central coast is nice in the summer months in the 60-75 range, but fairly cool at night. In the winter months it can be wet and cold with fog. In the last several years the weather has been changing. There is less spring and the summers seem to be getting hotter. Also there is more winds and when there are high winds the dust is bad and hard to drive in. When the Santa Anna winds blow in LA grass fires start and thousand of houses have burned. As you can see CA is very varied in the climate depending on where you are in the state.
Warm/hot weather down south, and cooler weather up north.

I believe it is the Mediterranean Climate......... Not Too Sure
California has falls in several different climate designation. Along the coast, west of the Sierra mountain range, California has a maritime climate. This means that the climate is regulated by the ocean, which results in temperatures between about 50 and 75 degrees year round. East of the Seirras, California has a continential climate. Temperatures are much higher as this area falls in a desert resulting from the mountain's rainshadow. Continental climates generally have much higher annual and diurnal (daily) temperature fluxtuations.
Much the same as the rest of the UK. It has a temperate climate with no extremes of hot or cold.
hot humid weather
Much of Southwest Asia has an arid or semiarid climate. (Mostly arid though)
What kind of a question is this...geez ow!!:):)
it rains pretty much in the mountains and in the summer it is very dry, but is cool and damp
Vintage is much less important in California wines because the climate is more consistent than in European wines.l
There are tornadoes in California on occasion. But they are usually weak. This is large due to the fact the much of California has a relatively dry climate, making it less prone to the strong thunderstorms that produce tornadoes.
