A culture medium composed of carbon source, nitrogen source and minerals was sterilized at 120° for 15 minutes, inoculated with strains of the genus Streptococcus and then cultivated at 35° C for 72 hours under aeration and agitation. Subsequent to the cultivation, the resultant was subjected to water-washing and sieving to obtain crude glucan. The crude glucan was then dissolved in NaOH solution and centrifuged. The recovered filtrate was neutralized with HCl and then the insolubilized glucan was collected by centrifugation. The collected glucan was washed with water thoroughly until no chloride ion was detected in the waste water and then dried to form white purified glucan powder. The chemical formula of water is H2O: water contain two atoms of hydrogen and one atom of oxygen.
Water is a polar covalent compound and it forms in a various reactions such as the combustion of hydrogen.
Solution
Water is a pure compound -- all of it is one kind of molecule: H2O.
When salt is mixed in with water, they form a solution. Salt is the solute, and water is the solvent.
compound
Its just 'plain or garden ' water.
Salt and water do not form a compound of any kind - neither decimal nor chemical.
Solution
Water is an oxide.

a compound
An ionic compound, specifically silver iodide.
Water is a pure compound -- all of it is one kind of molecule: H2O.
Dehydration
Ice is a solid form of water. It is a compound.
When salt is mixed in with water, they form a solution. Salt is the solute, and water is the solvent.
Sodium
They don't. The dissolving of salt in water is not the formation of a new compound, but rather merely creating a uniform mixture. It is not a new substance.
