well if u are talking about games that came after 2003 - 2004 u will need a DVD
if u are talking about games that are before that u can fit them on a CD
the difference is a CD can only hold up to ~720 MB (megabites) while a DVD can hold up to ~4750 MB or the dual layer DVD's (u need a dual layer DVD burner for these) can hold up to 8500 MB
it depends on what kind of game it is. if it is a computer game that you can buy online im pretty sure that you can just right click the icon in my computer and click copy to. when you do a list should come up. if you have the disc in you should see something on the list that would say disc or generic volume with a letter in parenthisis that would look like this (T:) or (G:) ext. if it is a game that is already on a disc doing that would be illegal coping of the disc and you could go to federal prison for that if they find out.
You have to have a 'dvd burner' kind of disc drive to burn dvds.
No a PS3 can read a CD DVD or Blu Ray disc and can not write or change a disc of any kind
You probably have laser-burn or other types of scratches on your disc. There really isn't anything that you can do to fix it. This kind of thing happens when the console is moved while a game is in use. Try to avoid this at all costs next time.
I hope it's obvious that it depends on the game and on what kind of burner you have. If it will fit on a CD, then your need a CD-R. If it needs a DVD, then you need a DVD-R or a DVD+R, depending on what your burner prefers. Note that just because you can burn the game doesn't mean it will work... many game discs have a form of copy protection that relies on certain tricks in the production process that can't easily be duplicated on a CD burner (professional CDs are pressed, not burned, and the masters are made with special equipment that is capable of doing things many home burners can't) but you wouldn't be trying to burn that kind of game anyway because that would be illegal.
PS2 games are on DVD discs
No because the game disc is a read-only type of disc. You cannot write to any kind of game disc that is for use on a console. you can put other songs onto guitar heroes 3 for ps2. You have to follow the steps on the www.GuitarHeroes.com website, put the songs of your choice on a disk and then whilst the guitar heroes 3 game is loading up quickly swap the disk with the copied one. The easiest way to do this is to take the top off your ps2!
...kind of obvious, don't you think? You put in the disc of the game you want to play. If you want to play Sims 3, put in that disc. If you want to play one of the expansion packs, put in the disc for the correct expansion pack.
Sometimes the encoding on a CD is in different formats. It is possible that if it is burned/made on a computer that it will have different encoding that the kind used in CD players.
it is pg my brother got the computer game and it said pg
You can find cd burning software in the computer software section of a computer store, Best Buy, or online at Amazon.com. The length of time it takes to burn a cd depends on the kind of media you are trying to copy.
Use any kind of DVD writeable discs. You can download games from websites like www.xbox360iso.com, etc. You can search in Google: xbox 360 game downloads and it can give you lots of sites ^^^^ stupid you need dual layered dvds and ixtreme firmware
