it really depends on your personality.
I have a Papillon and she is very energetic but hates walks and I hate going for them so it works perfectly for us. haha She also sleeps a lot and loves to cuddle which is what I really wanted but she loves to play. I consider her an active lap dog. She loves to play but when she plays with a toy she wants to be on you.
