This must be a trick question because they didn't start making T100's until 1993.
The 1997 Toyota T100 pickup with 2-wheel drive and a 3.4 liter EFI DOHC 6-cylinder engine uses R-134a refrigerant. The capacity is 23 ounces.
1.8 Liter
The 1995 Toyota T100 uses R-134a refrigerant for its air conditioning system. This was the standard refrigerant adopted in many vehicles during that time, replacing the older R-12 type. If you're servicing the AC system, be sure to use the appropriate type and follow any guidelines for charging the system.

I have a 1992 Toyota Paseo and I use 5W-30 engine oil in it. Always have and that's what the owners manual recommends.
Not as a rule, no. But it's that kind of thing that can happen to any kind of engine, so it's probable that it has happened to some Toyota engines as well.
