all big blocks , 351m,400m, 460 and I think the 351w. I'm sure of the smaller ones 351 and 400's as I've had trucks with them.
i HAVE AN ENGINE IN MY 1963 FORD TRUCK. iT'S NOT THE ORIGINAL ENGINE,i KNOW IT CAME FROM A 1978 . HOW CAN I FIND OUT WHAT KIND OF 78 IT CAME OUT OF?
Front tank (plastic) is approx 80 Litres(4.5L to the Gallon) of fuel. I have a 78 F250 4x4 and that what mine seems to take (to often).
no the transmission bolt patterns are different. huxrn
what engine?
78%
80-90w in the tranny and the rear differential.
Depends on the engine...
87% or B+
first of all the number 78 is bigger and second of all what kind of question is that.
I have both a '78 F250 trailer special and a '78 F350 camper special. They both have the same engine and transmission. My camper special has an extended wheel base( not all have this feature, only a few) and a double leaf spring in the back. It came from the factory with camper tie-downs instaled. It also has the spare tire were the side utility box is on my trailer special. My trailer special has a larger rear axle, I think its a 10.5in as opposed to a 9.0in the camper special. Other than that they are pretty much the same truck. Hope this helps. 78_ford_fanatic
When replaceing the toronado engine, The intake and carb must come from a toronado or Riviera because it is lower. The 78 came with a 403. A 307 or 455 Olds engine will work also as long as you put the low profile intake on
You don't...
