It depends on which engine your trying to swap. The 2.2L OHV engine will work in a 99 from a 2002 because it was the same engine. But if it's a Z24 model the 2.2L DOHC engine will not fit a 99 because the 99 used the old 2.4L Quad 4 in the Z24 models and some LS sedan models.
no because 2000-2002 they used bigger headlights than the 95-99.
the engine in a cavalier has been the same thing for all years since the late 80's. i accually just used a head from an 89 cavalier on a 95, so yes the engine should bolt right in. besides the obvious body difference in the two years, the engines are exactly the same.
i don't see why not the 2.2 was used in 95 and 96 should fit right in
According to the 2002 Lincoln LS Owner Guide : " premium " unleaded gasoline , 91 octane or higher is used in the 3.9 liter V8 engine ( also the 3.0 liter V6 engine )
Yes. They used the exact same engine.
New engine? Dealer. Used engine? Salvage yard. There are also some places that sell rebuilt engines. A Google search is in order.
It is important to maintain the fluid levels while owning a car. A 2000 Chevy Cavalier can use 5W30 and 10W30, depending on where the driver lives.
In 2002 the Chevy Malibu had a large port 3100 engine producing around 180hp. This engine was used from 2000 to 2003 in this form.

no, it ill not, from 95-99 Chevrolet used the Isuzu transmission in their 5 speed models, from 00+ the used the getrag transmission, the later of the two being the better, as its a little more noisy it is a better trans
Yes , the SOHC engine used in a 2002 Ford Focus is an interference engine , according to the Gates website ( they make timing belts etc. )
