No Molly should have bulgy eyeballs. I would be wondering if the fish had some kind of infection/swelling behind the eyes if it happened to a fish of mine. I know of no cure for this kind of problem so I would isolate and wait and see what happened for a few days and if there's no improvement I would euthanase the fish.
