those fruits that are edible in order to survive
Fruits have seeds. Vegetables don't. It is still a fruit because it has seeds in its natural state before it was genetically altered by man ............ sheesh
There are some species of fruits that are able to be made without having any seeds in them. This is mostly by breeding plants in such a way that they make an extra or two extra alleles on the plant genome, allowing fruits, like those Christmas oranges we love to get around Christmas time, with no seeds.

Fruits and vegetables are Nature's or God-made foods. I know some people say that a hybrid is not nature-made, but nature does produce hybrids to adapt to differing environments. Even heirloom fruits and vegetables were genetically altered by natural selection, or there would only be one kind of apple or tomato or mustard green. Man-made foods include white flours, pizza, fries, sodas, hamburgers, hot dogs, ice cream, cheeses, cooking oils, and anything in a box or bag. Fruit drinks that get their flavor from extracts and not the fuit itself are man-made. If it is processed it is man-made. Nature-made food includes all the different varieties of rice, quinoa, whole grains, vegetables, fruits, nuts, seeds, milk, avocado, olive, and all of the root crops. If you can pick it or dig it out of the ground, then it is NOT a man made food.
