High octane kerosene
Jet cars have jet engines; because of that they need a special fuel to power them. Most use aviation turbine fuel but some use a special blend made for race cars. This type of fuel is extremely flammable and is only stocked and sold to professionals.
Airplanes typically use aviation fuel, which is a specialized type of fuel with different grades such as Jet A and Jet A-1 for commercial aircraft, and Avgas for smaller general aviation planes. These fuels are distinct from standard gasoline or diesel used in cars.
Depending on what kind of plane it is, AV Gas or Jet Fuel
Either aviation gasoline or Jet A.
Airplanes primarily use jet fuel as an energy source to power their engines and propel them through the air. Jet fuel is a type of fossil fuel that is specifically designed for use in aircraft engines.
The use of a jet engine in cars can significantly improve their performance and efficiency compared to traditional engines. Jet engines are known for their high power output and faster acceleration, which can enhance the speed and overall performance of the car. Additionally, jet engines are more fuel-efficient than traditional engines, leading to better fuel economy and reduced emissions. Overall, the use of a jet engine in cars can result in a more powerful and efficient vehicle.
All Airbus aircraft use standard jet kerosene (Jet-A, for example). An unmodified A380 flew a test flight in 2009 using a mix of 60% jet fuel and 40% 'gas-to-liquids' fuel supplied by Shell.
Hydrogen gas
Helicopters use aviation turbine fuel most commonly known as "Jet A". This fuel resembles kerosene, on which other aircraft run.
It is not a great idea, you will be likely to ruin your fuel system. Jet fuel is low lubricity compared to diesel fuel. Perhaps someone can identify a commerially available lubricity additive. The US military has a lubricity additive to make jet fuel acceptable for ground vehicle use.
Gasoline is the most common type of fuel used in cars in North America because cars there use an internal combustion engine. A diesel motor can also use Biodiesel.
