Venus is not made up of gas, but it does have a thick atmosphere. The main
gas in the atmosphere is carbon dioxide, at about 96%. There's some nitrogen
(about 3.5%) and traces of other things.
The gases that make up most of the atmosphere of Venus is Carbon Dioxide (96.5%) and Nitrogen (3.5%). Although these percentages make up 100%, these are only approximations and there are other very small gases that Venus' atmosphere comprise of.
The atmosphere of Venus is largely carbon dioxide with some nitrogen. In smaller amounts, you could also find hydrochloric acid, carbon monoxide, a bit of water vapor, and uncombined oxygen. Sulfuric acid and hydrogen sulfide are also present. This would kill a human in one breath, but oddly, higher up in the Venusian atmosphere, gasses much more like on Earth are found.
Carbon Dioxide Venus' atmosphere is mostly carbon dioxide, which causes an intense greenhouse effect
Carbon dioxide. It makes up around 96.5% of Venus' atmosphere.

Carbon dioxide.
CO2.
Mercury, even though the closest planet to the sun, isn't the hottest planet because of the thing it lacks and that most planets have, an atmosphere. Venus is the hottest planet, the reason?... Venus's atmosphere. What makes its atmosphere special? It is 92 times as dense as Earths atmosphere and consists of 98% carbon dioxide. These properties make Venus's atmosphere like a magnifying glass that has the same diameter as the sun and the magnification power of an electron microscope, and a heat blanket that is so ridiculous that there isn't even a simile for it.
venus has the densest atmosphere
Mars and Venus are both planets that have atmospheres composed mostly of carbon dioxide.
There are two such planets, Mars and Venus. Venus has a much thicker atmosphere than Mars, but both atmospheres are about 95% carbon dioxide.
the most gaseous inner planet would be Venus, also the hottest planet

Mostly carbon dioxide (96.5%). Most of the rest is nitrogen.
Venus
no planet has an atmosphere like ours! Sorry! Fun Fact: Venus is the same size and mass as Earth!

Numerous amounts of toxins are found in the air, and it is extremely hot.
