It does not have to do with the breed of the horse!! take this from a VERY EXPERIENCED RIDER! the best horse for a beginner would be a horse that is atleast 20 year-old. why? because a 20 year old horse ( a horse on the older side) is more mellow and is less likely to bolt or take off. so if you are planning on doing lessons, ask for a older horse that has been doing lessons for a long time, hope that helped you!
