∙ 15y agoEvery time you press "Save" the information is put on your hard drive. If you haven't deleted the items in your cache file, there will be information about websites you've visited. If you play online games there will information about the games.

∙ 8y agoInformation (data) is only stored in a computer's memory using the volatile Random Access Memory (RAM) will the computer is running. Unless the data is saved to the hard drive, all the data on the RAM will be lost - hence the term - volatile memory.
