If you are raising dogs to sell, and members of the public will be coming onto your property to see them, then you need bodily injury liability coverage in case someone is bitten, or is injured while on your property. If you are boarding OTHER people's dogs, you also need liability insurance against negligence suits, in case their dog is injured or killed through accident. Plus, with any kind of business, it's smart to carry a policy that will protect you from fire, natural disaster, theft or vandalism.

I would suggest buying a smaller kennel. If a dog does not have room to go to the bathroom in one part of the kennel and lay in the other, they will most likely no go to the bathroom in the kennel. This is because the dog does not want to lay in its own feces.
