Improving your education typically increases your pay salary. Going back to school and receiving a Master's in Nursing gives you more of an independent role in the medical setting and therefor a higher salary. You shouldn't look at salary though in nursing, you should want to do the job and and care about the specialty if you choose one.

What does a certified nursing assistant make in Minnesota?

Most times starting wage you are paid 11 bucks to 11.50 or a little bit more an hour. Nursing homes will pay this much but after you've completed two years at a nursing home establishment and can transfer to a hospital they may raise it. Nursing homes raise your pay also after a while which can be the maximum pay of 23 bucks or higher. To be frank, it all depends on where you work, at many nursing homes I've either gotten paid more of less. But the average pay is 11 bucks.
