Mobil One or 10W-30 Dino oil. If you use a 20w-50 or similar thicker oil, you will probably blow the caps out of plastic cam oiler tubes. They are designed to blow out if there is excessive oil pressure. One sure way to tell if some have already is at idle in gear, if your tacho drops below 1 its almost definate. A distint tappet rattle is a second clue. The W140 M119 engines don't go though hydraulic lifters, so its the tube oilers. 16 of them! If you have to replace them you need two tappet cover gaskets and a good idea to replace the cam chain plastic guide covers as they break when you have to remove them to get to the last two oilers!
