It's kind of like a honking sound
Emperor Penguins don't make any kind of nest or homes.
a squeak
No, Emperor penguins do not live in igloos. They build nests out of rocks, pebbles, and sometimes even their own feces to protect their eggs and chicks from the cold Antarctic weather. Igloos are traditionally associated with human Inuit culture, not penguins.
Emperor penguins are sea birds and make their homes in salt water, where they find their food chains. Emperor penguins breed on Antarctica's beaches, because there are no land predators there. You can find Emperor penguin breeding colonies on all of Antarctica's beaches -- all around the continent.
MIGRATION: Emperor penguins make yearly travels inland to breeding sites in the early spring. Near the beginning of summer, adult penguins and their chicks return to the sea and spend the rest of the summer feeding there.
Of the 17 species of penguins, there are only fourspecies which live at Antarctica: Adelie, Emperor, Chinstrapand Gentoo penguins. The Antarctic is not their only range.
No. All penguins are sea birds and they make their homes in sea water where they can find food. Four types of penguins do, however, breed on Antarctica's beaches for a few weeks each year: Emperor, Adelie, Gentoo and Chinstrap.
From Antarctic Connection: "Of the 17 species of penguins, only four breed on the Antarctic continent itself: the Adelie, the Emperor, the Chinstrap and the Gentoo penguins." All penguins come to the continent to breed, so they are located on the beaches that surround the continent. Otherwise penguins make their lives in the oceans; they do not 'live' on the Antarctic continent.
Emperor penguins are sea birds and make their home at sea. However, they visit the Antarctic beaches to breed. Their rookeries are flat, mostly ice and rock rubble, and at the end of the breeding season are mostly intolerable for humans to visit -- because of the smell.
yes indeed it does! if you watch a movie called "March of the Penguins", you can learn alot about them, an Emperor Penguin makes a eeking/growling combined, best way i can explain it :/
umm they are really mportant because if they are sick or dying they will make a sound that u would have to do.
Because no one goes to the arctic to hunt penguins and it is material for them to be in that climate so they are not in any harm to make them endangered.
