All kinds of species. After all, all species that doexist are the result, primarely, of natural selection.

That includes us! We were originally an African primate but slowly diffused to many other parts of the world where we needed different approaches to exposure to solar radiation: hence our several different strains (races). One effect only fairly recently know is that different races have different susceptibilities to certain illnesses - again a matter of natural selection although one hard to understand.

What kind of beliefs did Charles Darwin have?

Charles Darwin was the man who produced the theory of evolution, which describes how species of organisms, by a process of natural selection, gradually evolve into other species.

What kind of natural Selection would eliminate one extreme?

Directional selection

What kind of selection can result in speciation?

Natural selection seems to be the only selection that can drive speciation with powerful adaptive change. Sexual selection seems to stay within the species and both gene flow and genetic drift do not seem to drive speciation very well.

What is selection of microbes?

Selection of microbes refer to the choosing of the laboratory species that is to be used in some kind of research.

What importance does overproducion play in Charles Darwin's theory of evolution by natural selection?

There are more animals alive than can possibly live, so they compete and struggle for survival. The more of that kind of stress there is on a species, the more natural selection will come into play and filter them into smaller numbers of those most able.

What are good snakes to breed with red tail boa?

Other red-tail Boas ! Cross-breeding different species invariably results in mutations or health problems. In their natural habitat, animals almost never interbreed with species other than their own. Natural selection is imprinted in the animal to breed with their own kind to perpetuate their species !

Superficially similar features molded by natural selection is very different species are classified as what kind of structures?

Superficially similar features molded by natural selection in different species are classified as analogous structures. These structures arise independently in different lineages due to similar environmental pressures and serve similar functions, but they do not share a common evolutionary origin. This contrasts with homologous structures, which are derived from a common ancestor.

What kind of selections occurs in many birds when males that build strong nests help care for young are chosen by females as mates?

This is called, sexual selection.

How do populations evolve?

Populations evolve mainly in two ways: By natural selection and genetic drift Natural selection is the process by which forms of life having traits that better enable them to adapt to specific environmental pressures, as predators, changes in climate, or competition for food or mates, will tend to survive and reproduce in greater numbers than others of their kind, thus ensuring the perpetuation of those favorable traits in succeeding generations. Genetic drift is random changes in the frequency of alleles in a gene pool, usually of small populations.

What determines the kind and size of animals?

The environment and ecological niche play a large role in determining the kind and size of animals. Factors such as available resources, competition, predation, and evolutionary history all influence an animal's size and species. Natural selection also plays a significant role in shaping the characteristics of different animal species.

What kind of research did Darwin do?

Darwin conducted extensive research in biology, geology, and natural history during his journey on HMS Beagle. He collected numerous specimens of plants, animals, and fossils, and carefully observed the differences in species across various geographical regions. This research laid the foundation for his theory of evolution by natural selection.

Define the Mechanism of natural selection?

As nature changes (think of weather, season, natural disaster and the way species eat each other) certain element of nature will go extinct causing the species that fail to reduce their dependency on that extinct element perish as well. Put it on a modern perspective... How bright and or a hard working students will get all the priviledges and leave the underachiever to find their own way also a kind of "natural selection". Students that fail to change their behaviour to work harder or smarter will have a more challenging life.
