Because the paper has to push more air out of its way while it's falling. If you could drop them in some kind of a tube or tank with no air in it, then the stone, the paper, a bowling ball, a drop of water, and a feather would all fall together.
Well I don't know the specific geological name, but it's any type of stone that has air pockets in it.
No stone/rock melts in water. It may erode over time, but does not melt. Salt as a mineral will dissolve in water.
freshwater and saltwater- they can live in both habitats. it really doesnt matter what kind of water they are in to them. saltwater

Well, I can only guide you to a leaf stone. (is it the same or not) In Castelia City, a guy will ask you what monkey (from the guy in the dreamyard) you got. Say pansage, you get a leaf stone, panpour, you get some kind of water stone etc.
