Consider buying a green, eco-friendly oil absorbent products that you can find online or from distributors to keep on hand so that if you ever spill oil, paint, gasoline or other liquid, you can quickly absorb them. You can find a wide variety of products online. They are extremely absorbent, easy to use and renewable. Typically these products absorb instantly and often remove most of the stain as well.

Cat litter is good for absorbing motor oil on hard surfaces like concrete or asphalt. It does not soak up all of it but if you leave it on the spot long enough (1-2 days) all you should be left with is a stain.

I believe it is a solution since you cannot see or take apart the different chemicals added to make motor oil

For spills on concrete use kitty litter. Let it sit, rinse with water and dawn. After dries sprinkle on dry cement, sweep up excess.
