All the characters are listed in the Character Map. Go to Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Character Map. Each Font has different characters. Some characters have a keystroke in the lower right corner that you can use to make them. For the rest you have to select the character by clicking it and then clicking "select." Click "Copy" and paste it where you want it.

I can only tell you how for a mac computer. On a mac computer you have to press option, and then kind of press all the buttons until you find the right one.
