There are a few necessary skills if someone is wishing to get a job working at a help desk for any software solutions. First and foremost, you must have some sort of communication skills (listening, writing, speaking and reading) in order to effectively do the job of helping those who have an issue or inquiry. Also, you must be able to at least navigate a computer in the traditional way; although the job may not specifically require using a computer, you must still have some knowledge of computers and other technologies in order to assist anyone if needed. There are many other common skills you must have in order to effectively perform in this job like determination, reliability, and trustworthiness, among others.
