Yes. In Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, Vexen made Replica Riku was as a plan B when his initial plan of recruiting the real Riku didn't work. While in Castle Oblivion, Vexen created a spitting image of Riku infused with Riku's memories, but the memory was altered and manipulated by Namine in order to further fault Sora's plans. This plan failed when Namine told Replica Riku the truth of his existence.
What is Riku Replica?
Riku Replica, or Repliku,(as he is also named), was introduced in Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, and reappeared in Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories. Repliku, was created by Vexen, out of gathered data, and was meant to be used, to manipulate Sora, and also to fight against the Organization. In Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, Repliku was seen as the main antagonist, along with the Organization members. Although he was a replica, Namine had created false memories for him, and had rearranged Sora's memories to implant the same memory, resulting in confusion. The truth of his creation caused him to stop functioning, in which Larxene informed Sora, that Namine had shattered his heart.
