To protect yourself against chemical spills you must wear protective eyewear, protective gloves and clothes. The lab that people are working in should provide protective gear.

Lab apron is worn over clothes and skin to protect the body and clothing while in the lab.
Do NOT wear Baggy clothes, or Holey clothes! AND GIRLS DONT WEAR YOUR HAIR DOWN!
They wear normal clothes, the lab coats are just worn to protect their clothing from spills and stains.
Open toed shoes should not be worn in a lab because if a chemical spills on your foot,then it could be pretty serious.(plus it would hurt)
