Not sure exactly the answer ur looking for....If you can take a male and a female of the same kind of organism and they can reproduce an offspring, then they are related. Even a donkey and a horse are related, becuz when they mate, they produce a mule. Or you can also check to see if they're in the same family, subdivision, genus, etc....If you're comparing two or more animals, you can check if they are mammals, reptiles, amphibians, birds, rodents, marsupials, etc...Even more you can check if they live in the same area, eat the same food, act a similar way.....hopes this helps u out some!
the fact that they use DNA as their hereditary material
The kinds of evidence that indicates how closely species are related are evidence of DNA and protein structure.
I thought the DNA is the most effective way to determine how closely related species are.
DNA
Related species have similar embryos.
A branching tree
It shows the process of wich the species eveolved, what are it's common ancestors, how its related to similar species, and so on and so fourth.
Yes, if it is not then technically it's not a fossil.
evidence that you think shows that Pluto should or should not be classed as a planet
Answer this question… They see that the presence of young from different species of flies shows time of death
Yes, species within the same family are more closely related to each other than species within the same order. Family is a taxonomic rank that is more specific and shows a closer genetic relationship between species, while order is a broader taxonomic rank that includes multiple families.
* Because it shows that species can change over time
They evolved over time from older species.
They are not THAT closely related; bats are mammals, not birds. Both mammals and birds are vertebrate animals.
Related species have similar embryos.
The fossil record shows that different species have evolved over time. The fossil record also provides evidence of how a specific organism evolved from earlier species. The fossil record shows that organisms have become more complex over time. It also shows which organisms lived during the same time period, which have a common ancestor, and which have become extinct.

A branching tree
It shows that the organisms are somewhat related. It is evidence that they had a common ancestor.
It shows the process of wich the species eveolved, what are it's common ancestors, how its related to similar species, and so on and so fourth.
There is an article in Wikipedia (see related link) that shows the distribution of each sub-species.
