1) energy
2) Solar powered cars take there energy from the sun, and store this energy as electricity, in batteries to power the car.
3) I agree with both 1 & 2 above. Fuels implies of fossil origin and liquid, gas or solid form; the better term is energy. Solar power is electrical energy which is first light energy from the sun and becomes electrical energy when converted within a photovoltaic cell or bank(s) of such cells.
How does a solar powered car stop
many fossil fuels are being released into the atmospherics global warming, ozone destruction.....etc. In these fossil fuels include the constantly being released, dangerous smoke of vehicles and vessels. Cars also function this and that is why solar powered car is invented. It does not release smoke as it uses solar power. It needs to be pointed out that there are no solar powered cars currently legal in the world.

Solar powered cars are battery powered cars. The solar array is charging the batteries. So there is no real difference.
the first solar powered car , also known as the "sunmobile"
the solar powered car was invented by Alfred Pandori 1985
The cheapest solar powered car is $5,560 (this car is Chinese). The most expensive solar powered car is between $284,000 (Australian) and $1.5 million dollars (possibly American or European)!!
yes
The first solar powered car was been back in 1981 and they have made solar powered cars ever since then. The most popular solar powered car and is also the fastsest is called the Sunswift IVy.
A solar powered car would require no fuel. However, although electric motors are very efficient, the problem is that battery technology is insufficient to provide cheap, light storage of electrical power. Also, solar powered cars face a problem at night. Although a solar-powered car would help the environment by not using fossil fuels, it uses other minerals (such as lead) for the battery, which is not ideal.
There are no 100% solar powered cars for sale today.
Because people dont want to waste money on gas and want to help out the enviorment. With a solar powered car, it will save them money but the solar powered car may cost a lot of money and be less useable.
