Barnacles.
Barnacles are not inherently poisonous to dogs. However, if a dog consumes a large amount of barnacles or ingests sharp pieces of their shells, it can cause digestive issues or injuries. It is best to prevent dogs from eating barnacles to avoid any potential health risks.
It would be a toss-up among sea squirts, oysters, barnacles, sponges and members of congress.
no. Barnacles are Omnivores.
Barnacles!
To be quite honest, I really have not got the faintest idea!
Commensalism is a symbiotic relationship were one animal benefits and the other animal is not affected. An example of commensalism is the relationship between barnacles and Humpback whales. The barnacles cling on too the whale and are carried to rich feeding grounds (So the barnacles benefit)and the whales are not affected by the barnacles.
Zoo-plankton (animals) eat phytoplankton (plants) and bigger animals such as fish, corals, barnacles, muscles etc, eat any plankton (animal or plant) that comes by them.
Sessile means nonmotile. Animals in this category include reef-building corals, mollusks, barnacles, and sponges. On land, scale insects mature as sessile animals.
One example of a sessile land animal is the barnacle. Barnacles are marine arthropods during their larval stage, but once they settle on a surface, they become sessile and attach themselves to rocks, docks, or other substrates. They filter feed using their feathery legs.
