Located South East of Europe, Greece borders a few countries, some of which are connected by land and others through the Mediterranean sea. To name a few, Albania, Macedonia, and Bulgaria have a common land-border with Greece while Turkey and, slightly, Italy and Malta are neighboring countries by their common sea.
The presence of vascular tissue is not common to all green algae and land plants. Vascular tissue is a specialized system found in some land plants (such as ferns and seed plants) that helps transport water and nutrients throughout the plant. Green algae lack this feature.
