The World's largest seed is believed to be that of the Giant Fan Palm. It can be called the coco de mer because it travels by sea (mer) to other lands. It is also known as the double coconut, and some folk claim that it looks rather like your "butt end" (the cheeks of your backside). The tree is called "Lodoicea maldivica", and my guess of why it's called that is that "mal" means "bad" and "divica" probably means "division", because the seed looks as though it was meant to be two seeds.
the largest seed is that of the coc-de-mer coconut tree, which weighed 40 pounds love you!!
The largest seed comes from the coco de mer palm tree, native to the Seychelles islands. The seed can weigh up to 40 pounds (18 kg) and is also one of the heaviest seeds in the plant kingdom.

A mesquite tree is a dicot. Dicots are characterized by having two seed leaves when germinating, whereas monocots have only one seed leaf. Mesquite trees belong to the Fabaceae family, which is a group of dicot plants.
The tree with long seed pods is the acacia tree.

Crabapple trees are dicots, which means they belong to the class of angiosperms that have two seed leaves upon germination. This classification is based on the number of cotyledons present in the seed.
