I think they trespass, smoke, and do drugs
In Missouri, a student can drop out at 17 years of age. An 18 year old doesn't have to attend high school, and can drop out without parental permission.
Many states allow you to drop out at 16 with parental permission. Each state sets their own laws about mandatory education. In most, they require you to attend school until graduating from High School or age 18.
That may depend greatly on which state you live in and its laws governing this question. In most states you can drop out, but I don't recommend doing so. Statistically it is more difficult to find jobs wothout a high school education. If you decide to go ahead and drop out, I would suggest that you enter 'Job Corp' and most definatley get your GED as well.
What are the Ohio laws for students driving to and from school?
Check your state laws to be sure that 16 is the legal age to do it. Contact the school and advise them that you are withdrawing the student. Otherwise it would show up as a drop or incomplete.
Virginia has had compulsory attendance laws since 1908. The age to drop out is 18 years old.
high school Ledger was sixteen, so that would probably make him a sophomore (by American standards). Also, in America, you legally have to stay in school until you are sixteen (I don't know what the Australian laws are like).
Yes bro there is !
This answer assumes that the student does not object to the ride and knows this person; Then, No it's not illegal In other words, a friend of the student could give them a ride home and break no laws right?
This varies from state to state.
Texas set the laws in 1915. School attendance is compulsory from age 6 to 18.
It depends on where you are. Different locations have different laws. However, in order to legally drop out at 15, it's likely that no matter where you are you will have to have a better reason than "I want to" ... financial hardship, for example. In some places you can take a basic proficiency exam and get a certificate which is legally equivalent to a high school diploma (sort of like a GED); usually there's a minimum age for this (in California, for example, you have to be 16).
