Yes, you can. Most barbells made for the tongue are 14 gauge, so your ear piercing would need to be 14 gauge (much thicker than a regular earring). A labret is another option, as they are usually shorter.

You would need to know other physical properties to be able to calculate the length. As you would need to know certain properties to be able to calculate the volume, for instance.
Sorry, you cant. An earring is alot different then if you were using a needle which is sharper compared to an earring which is very dull. Using a needle, you would have to re-pierce the hole over the years or so. And earring have a chemical that could possibly get into the blood from your ear. Using a needle, all you would need to do is burn the tip with a lighter, have alchol near by to soak needle and cotton balls. This is an effective way, however I would not recommend it for arious reasons. Thoes of which being..Infection, Not safe, Infection, and Not safe. :)
you need length and width length multiply width = area length + length + width + width = perimeter
Go to the studio that did it for you and ask for help.
You can try using a lubricant, such as oil or lotion, to help loosen the earring. Gently wiggle and rotate the earring while pulling it straight out. If it's still stuck, you may need to seek help from a professional, like a jeweler or a doctor.
