Growlithe learns Flamethrower at Level 35

Flamethrower: Growlithe can also learn Flamethrower via the Move Tutor in Goldenrod City (Crystal only)

Use a Fire Stone on Growlithe. In my personal opinion, if you don't want to spent the money to get the TM for flamethrower from the coin trade in place next to the casino, I would wait till level 49 when Growlithe learns Flamethrower, and the use the Fire Stone, and then when you have an Arcanine it will learn Extremespeed also.

Route 8, 35, 36 and 37, you can catch a growlithe. Level it up and it will learn ember then flame wheel and at 50 it learns flamethrower. Evolve it with your firestone right after growlithe learns flamethrower and then have arcanine learn extremespeed after it evolves.

I don't think there is a TM for it but you can get a Charizard, it will learn flamethrower, then breed that Pokemon with a Ditto, then that charmander should know flamethrower.

Growlithe can learn the move Flamethrower at Level 34. This doesn't change if you give it a Fire Stone and make it an Arcanine either. ~Lucario

never Wrong. A Growlithe can learn Flamethrower at level 50. However, an Arcanine cannot, so I suggest you raise your Growlithe to level 50, evolve it with a Fire Stone, and let the rest take its course.

chimcha can learn the move flamethrower

growlithe can learn bitecatch a haunter teach one of your Pokemon thief (should be in your TM case)

Growlithe does not learn Extremespeed, only its evolved form, Arcanine, learns Extremespeed at level 49. Note that this is the same level that Growlithe learns flamethrower, which Arcanine can only learn through a TM, so if you want both Extremespeed and Flamethrower, evolve Growlithe at level 49. moves like bite, flame wheel, flamethrower lvl 50, take down

Arcanine doesn't learn flamethrower in any Pokemon games, if you want to teach him, give him the TM flamethrower (TM35). However, if you waited till lv 50, a growlithe can indeed learn flamethrower on its own. Unfortunately, arcanine would not learn extremespeed as a result. Ah but it does, if you get it up to level 50 it will learn flamethrower then evolve it using a fire stone and when it has evolved it will learn extremespeed soz if answer is a bit late

it can learnit in its 50,s or you could teach it as a TM

Palkia can learn flamethrower with a TM otherwise NO

no because they learn moves on diffrent levels so you would ethier have to keep the growlithe and hope it learns it soon or get the arcanine and wait to learn it hope i helped

Unfortunately, Arcanine does not learn Flamethrower. Your must level your Growlithe up to lv 50 to learn Flamethrower and then evolve it to Arcanine in order for Arcanine to have the move.

Houndour will learn flamethrower at level 48

Houndour learn flamethrower at 43 level (Pokemon platinum)

You only can learn flamethrower if you have a fire-type pokemon. Look for TM35.

on levelk 49... acanince learns extreme espeed on level 49 too...

Arcanine learns Extremespeed at Lv. 49, which is the same level that Growlithe learns Flamethrower. So, if you want Flamethrower and Extremespeed, use the Fire Stone on Growlithe only at level 49.

You have to get to 4 island, and then get growlithe and ponyta of opposite genders, and put them in the daycare. If ponyta is female, then the egg will hatch into a ponyta. If the growlithe is female, then the egg will hatch into growlithe. If either Pokemon can learn a move their dad learns, they will know it when they hatch from the egg.

Only its former evolution, Growlthe, can learn it before it. When you evolve Arcanine, it cant learn ANY of growlthes moves, but can learn extreme speed at level 33. Or you could just teach Arcanine flamethrower by using the TM flamethrower, otherwise, you will have to level up a growlithe until it learns flamethrower then evolve it into an arcanine.
