In South Africa, Grade 12 is equivalent to NQF level 4. This is the final year of the General Education and Training Phase and signifies the completion of secondary education.
The N6 certificate is on NQF level 5, and the Diploma is on NQF level 6.

An HNC is equivalent to the first year of a uni course. An HND is equivalent to the second year of a uni course. As for a NVQ level 4 i don't think it is as good as a HNC.
An ordinary degree is equivalent to NVQ 4 and an Honours degree to NVQ 5.
No O' level is not equivalent of HSC. A level is HSC equivalent.
