No, born footwear is not a good shoe to help you with running. Born footwear are like boots and casual shoes. You should wear light weight running shoes to assist you.
If light is made of photons and photons have mass then you would assume that light has weight in a gravitational field. In fact light running into an object imparts momentum to it. However photons have no rest mass. If they did , objects that were exposed to sunlight and absorbed it would get heavier as time goes on, they don't. So light has no mass and hence no weight.
Yes, these shoes are very specific in their making that they will be light, very very light and that they do not add any weight at ALL. It is literally like running barefoot, but with a protection for your feet and a bit padding for comfort and softness.
Magnets are not light in terms of weight but they can interact with light. Magnets do not emit, absorb, or reflect light, but they can affect electromagnetic radiation because they generate a magnetic field.

Track shoes with spikes on the bottom help you improve your run greatly. They are only used for field events and sprinting however. Some meets and clubs require that you have certain lengths of spikes. They skrew in and are easy to take in and out. Your form should be developed before you start using them and are not recommended for younger kids. These shoes are usually light-weight and can cost anywhere from $20-$120.
First off you need the right clothes. You can't just try your best in skate shoes and jeans. You need comforatable shorts or light pants and some running shoes. Second train. I'm in 6th grade and I won the 440, longjump, 880, 100,and 220 every time I tried. I also got 6:09 in the mile and my trick was train. I did track AND cross country so that might've helped to. Again I know I sound like a broken record but TRAIN!
