The Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons treaty.
Some famous implode systems include but are not limited to nuclear weapon design, pure fission weapons, boosted fission weapons, two-stage thermonuclear weapons and pure fusion weapons to name some.
Some of the countries have nuclear weapons because they use them as a defense mechanism. The nuclear weapons are intended to be used whenever there is a war.
Nuclear weapons are governed by international agreements such as the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT), which aims to prevent the spread of nuclear weapons. Additionally, there are regional and bilateral agreements that regulate the use and possession of nuclear weapons among specific countries. Some countries also have domestic laws pertaining to nuclear weapons possession and testing.
Compared to a loaf of bread, all nuclear weapons are heavy. Compared to a truck, some are light and some are heavy.
tactical nuclear weapons
George Bush was the first American president to unilaterally dismantle some US nuclear weapons. In 1991, he committed the U. S. to the destruction of some chemical weapons.
energy/electricity/weapons
Not at all. Nuclear weapons weren't invented until the end of WW2, some 25+ years later.
Most of it does, but some comes from weapons manufacture as well
They would be dismantled, non-nuclear parts cut up and scrapped, nuclear parts stored in secure facility. Some recycled to maintain other weapons, hopefully some used in reactor fuel.
The Atomic Age created the cold war. With nuclear weapons, total wars (such as WW2) could no longer be fought. Only limited wars such as the Korean War and Vietnam Wars could be fought. Limited to only CONVENTIONAL weapons (Non-nuclear).
All modern nuclear weapons use plutonium. There may be a uranium component in some modern weapons as well, usually in the secondary or added on in rings to adjust the yield of the weapon.
