There have been two pearls that have been the largest in the whole of history, Cleopatra owned both of them. In accordance with previous instructions, a vessel was placed in front of Cleopatra containing very strong vinegar. She took off one pearl and dropped it into the vinegar and when it was melted, swollowed it.
