There are an uncountable amount of things that live in lakes. There are fish of all different types. There are animals like beavers and otters. There are insects that live there and some are just hatched there and then move on. Birds like ducks and loons live on lakes. Alge lives in lakes. Frogs and newts live in the lakes around where I live. Snakes live in lakes. Lots of critters live in lakes and ponds.
