No ,it's never been the Welsh capital- up until the Industrial Revolution (1759) it was a small village, and only expanded when iron foundries were established there in the 18th Century (From 1759).
The duality of Canada, with TWO founding nations, first French then English, has been the basic source of division since the conflict in 1759. In order to be able to rule the Quebecers, after their defeat at the Plains of Abraham, in 1759, the British allowed the French speakers to keep their own laws ( The Napoleonic Code ) and their own language and to elect their own legislature members. For that time period that was very unusual and very forgiving. Unfortunately that also laid the groundwork for the idea that Quebec was "special " which they have been using ever since to try to get as much as they can, from the rest of Canada.
Technically speaking, draught beer is beer served from the cask in which it has been conditioned. This term has been applied, loosely, to any beer served from a large container or keg. More recently, it has been used as a promotional term for canned or bottled beer, in a bid to convince consumers that the beer inside tastes like it came from a cask.
Since the introduction of the Gregorian calendar in 1582, Easter has fallen on April 15th fourteen times: 1607, 1618, 1629, 1691, 1759, 1770, 1781, 1827, 1838, 1900, 1906, 1979, 1990 and 2001.
You can, but like any other restaurant, Lambert's may charge you double for the entree. Lambert's, Home of the th'owed rolls, is a bit different as restaurants go. It is similar to family style serving, in that pass arounds (side dishes) are complimentary. Although patrons can order pass arounds as their entree and have, essentially, all you can eat. Lambert's is a business nonetheless, and they have the right to make their money fairly, and while they may serve a customer who ordered a beverage his own fill of pass arounds, charging for only the beverage (I've seen this), there is the expectation that those who patron, pay. On a side note, the Lambert family are wonderful, giving people. Norman has been a star of the show for as long as I can remember. They have treated me and mine like family for as long as I have been fortunate enough to eat there. If you go to any of their locations, treat them as fairly as they will definitely welcome you.
